Responsibilities:

Description

Candidate will provide all-source intelligence analysis support to the existing intelligence staffs at multiple tactical and operational echelons within the Combined Joint Operating Area - Afghanistan to support administrative, analytical, planning and reporting functions.

Candidate will be a member of an intelligence analytical team of military and/or DoD civilian analysts in support of Regional Command, BCT/RCT/MEU/MEB/Coalition BDE, and Battalion CJ2 staffs' analytical requirements.

The candidate will be responsible for analysis, reporting, database management and dissemination of IED and C-IED mission analysis briefings and annexes, high value individual targeting products, IED threat network nodal analysis, and all-source exploitation of documents and media from C-IED operations and detainees.

The candidate will be responsible for conducting research, developing all-source intelligence products, and presenting/publishing products at the tactical and operational level related to insurgent IED cell activities.  Provide threat assessments to local/regional stability as part of an overall C-IED analytical team. The analysis of insurgents, who are directly linked to the acquisition, production, transportation, emplacement and employment of IEDs; and providing input to multiple Government requirements and objectives, assists with the analysis and production of various intelligence products specifically focused on the C-IED effort, and supplies analytical support for senior Military leaders.

The candidate will attend meetings and conduct comprehensive research on IED/C-IED topics, independently or as a part of a larger analytical team focusing on IED-related current events and long-term analysis that could impact the supported unit's mission.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

·     A minimum of 4 years analytical experience within DoD or equivalent Government agencies required, with operational level experience preferred.

Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

Candidate shall function as a part of an intelligence analytical team of military and/or DoD civilian analysts in support of US Forces Afghanistan (USFOR-A). Candidates shall be responsible for conducting research, developing analytical products, briefing and publishing SIGINT products at the tactical and strategic level related to insurgent IED cell activities, and threats to local/regional stability. The SIGINT Analyst shall perform analysis of raw signals intelligence and produce fused products of insurgents who are directly linked to the acquisition, production, transportation, emplacement and employment of IEDs.

The SIGINT Analyst shall provide guidance to Government requirements and provide analysis and production of various intelligence products specifically focused on the C-IED mission set, and support for senior Military leaders. The SIGINT Analyst shall be responsible for SIGINT analysis related to IED threats, Counter-IED mission planning, target development, damage assessment and counter-terrorism in the AOR and Afghanistan in general. The SIGINT Analyst shall attend meetings and conduct in-depth research on topics independently or as a part of a larger analytical effort focusing on IED-related current events and long-term trends analysis that could impact the supported unit's mission.

Required Qualifications:

Five to seven years total experience with four years of military experience. College degree or equivalent mid-level military enlisted or company grade officer experience preferred.

This position requires a current Top Secret/SCI clearance.

Description

Candidate will provide collection requirements management to support intelligence analysis for the existing intelligence staffs at multiple tactical and operational echelons within the Combined Joint Operating Area - Afghanistan to support administrative, analytical, planning and reporting functions.

The candidate will support Intelligence Collection Manager (CM) functions as a part of an intelligence analytical team of military and/or DoD civilian analysts in support of USFOR-A, CJTF Paladin, Regional Command, BCT/RCT/MEU/MEB/Coalition BDE, and Battalion CJ2 staffs' analytical requirements.

The candidate shall be responsible for coordinating all C-IED Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) collection requirements and ensures all intelligence data is properly disseminated within the supported command/organization.

The candidate develops, maintains and updates collection plans based on the supported Commander's Priority Intelligence Requirements in support of C-IED specific targets, and monitors a wide range of available organic and non-organic (organic sensors assigned/attached to the supported command/organization; non-organic belong to other commands/organizations) collection systems. The candidate will support newly nominated/emerging requirements, then validate and make distribution accordingly.

The candidate will prepare ISR assessment metrics of IMINT, SIGINT and HUMINT products to evaluate and gauge the effectiveness of collection operations.

The candidate will interact with higher, lateral and subordinate commands/organizations' collection and requirements managers including entities within ANSF/GIRoA to answer intelligence related RFIs and de-conflict or collaborate on AOR C-IED requirements and reporting. The candidate will conduct presentations and briefings when required.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

·     A minimum of 3 years collection management operational experience within DoD or equivalent Government agencies required. Background in National, DoD and Service collection platform capabilities, collection management planning, synchronization, execution and assessment preferred.

·     Knowledge and familiarity of systems such as Falconview and C2PC and experience with Intelligence Community Collection Management systems (for example, COLISEUM), mission applications, and communications capabilities within INTELINK, JWICS, and SIPRNET.

·     Possess strong writing skills and be capable of effectively operating as a member of a Combine/Joint intelligence team.

·     Possess strong briefing skills and be capable of effective communication in the accomplishment of collection management reporting and requirements.

DESIRED SKILLS:

·     Knowledge of communication and dissemination architectures is desired.
