Description

Provides general office and administrative support. Includes maintaining the client's Program Office master calendar and aligning near-term and long-term calendar activities for the program manager (PM) and deputy program manager (DPM). Requires continuous synchronization with calendars of other client managers and senior agency leadership across various geographic locations.

Supports PM/DPM preparation for meetings including: collecting, organizing, and reviewing read-ahead materials; and ensuring "read ahead" materials areprovided to all senior leader attendees.

Performs timekeeping support for selected personnel (client core staff and matrixed staff) as assigned by PM or DPM, in accordance with agency directives.

Accesses, sorts, and produces data/information in reports and briefings. Develops documents, correspondence, and briefings per guidance from the PM/DPM. Tracks, proof reads, makes editorial recommendations and/or modifies written products, as required. Prepares or provides guidance on preparing products in accordance with agency correspondence guides.

Provides the PM/DPM with travel support including: processing electronic travel orders; developing itineraries; booking reservations; and drafting travel vouchers upon their return. Provides Defense Travel System (DTS) guidance to other client travelers, when necessary.

Manages meeting requests for the client Program Office to include submitting/scheduling video tele-conferencing (VTC) requests, coordinating MS Outlook calendar notifications, setting up rooms and establishing video/audio teleconference links.

Maintains official client Program Office files (electronic and paper) in accordance with government regulations and agency guidelines. Serves as the client's lead Records Management Liaison Officer and Privacy Act Liaison Officer for the Huntsville AL location. Serves as alternate
suspense tracking manager. Supports the client's Property Book Officer. Submits client property purchase requests when authorized by the PM/DPM, coordinates with the business manager for funding, tracks status and provides updates to management through delivery, and establishes property accountability.

Serves as focal point for client office moves. Manages and coordinates client personnel arrivals, departures, transfers and relocations within the client program office and other agency 2Ltr and 3Ltr organizations in accordance with the agency's matrix management policy. Documents all property transfers for outbound and incoming client personnel.

Periodically maintains and updates the program office Phone Tree and Organizational Chart.

Remains knowledgeable of current administrative policies, directives, and guidelines. Provides implementing guidance to the administrative staff on each program office team regarding correspondence development, office coordination requirements, and synchronization of meetings in accordance with policies from the agency's administrative directorate and client Program Office, e.g., preparing memoranda, staffing documents, accomplishing electronic coordination, etc. May recommend and/or implement improvements/updates to organizational policies and business processes to implement statutory or regulatory changes and the adoption of best business practices.

Accomplishes other administrative duties for the PM/DPM.

Required Qualifications:

Requires bachelor's degree or equivalent, and at least five years of related experience, including three years of acquisition experience. Specialized experience and other training/education may be substituted for a bachelor's degree on a case-by-case basis, subject to client approval. Proficiency in MicroSoft Office software suite is also required.

Desired Qualifications:

Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level I Certification in Program Management or Contracting desired. Experience working on major acquisition programs and/or agency-level headquarters staff is desirable.

Required Qualifications:

Must be able to demonstrated experience and ability to (1) analyze ILS, configuration, and logistics data management operations at the Fleet, waterfront, and ship level; (2) analyze shipboard systems, equipment, components, and parts; (3) assimilate and develop technical configuration data and ILS products; and (4) use automated life cycle logistics systems to identify deficiencies in technical data and procedures, and to provide remedial solutions and actions.

At least 5 years experience with the operations of the DoD and service supply system and shipboard ILS, configuration, and logistics data management. Duties and Responsibilities:

Support developer to transition current Client/Server based application to a web enabled application. Responsible for trouble shooting and performing operations and maintenance on legacy client server application. Maintain configuration management and support traditional systems development practices.

Writes code to create single-threaded or user interface event driven applications, either stand-alone or those which access servers or services.

Develops code necessary to complete the assigned project(s) in the specified time

frame according to departmental standards and guidelines.

Writes, modifies, and debugs software for client applications.

Identifies and reports problems in new and existing software. Recreates reported software problems to facilitate solutions. This includes validating the fix for the software problem.

Required Qualifications:

Must have Bachelors degree.

Must have programming experience with Oracle PL/Sql, Oracles Triggers and stored procedures.

Must have experience using TOAD.

The clearance level required is Secret.

Desired Qualifications:

Ability to document processes and create written communications.

Ability to support occasional off hours development for updates and fixes.

As this Software Quality Assurance Specialist, you will directly support the Air Force Civil Engineer NexGen Information Technology (AF CE NexGen IT) effort. You will ensure that quality software is provided for each next life cycle step, including release, by creating risk-driven Quality Assurance Plans for end-to-end audits and reviews. You will work with the team to integrate plans for Quality Assurance, Project and Risk Management, Testing, Training, Release, and others as needed. You will ensure all non-conformances are tracked to resolution, and certify that products or processes are ready for delivery prior to release.

In this role, you will work closely with the Project Manager, Customer team, Requirements and Design Analysts, Engineers, Testers, and Training developers to ensure work products are testable, and are correctly reflected in training materials. You could expect to be asked to prepare documentation to support process appraisals, such as for CMMI, ISO, ASQ, Six Sigma, etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure that quality software products are provided for each next lifecycle step, including release to production in support of the NexGen IT program
