Description

The successful candidate will assist the Government in implementing disciplined, comprehensive, and flexible project management processes, including monitoring of project metrics, rigorous risk management, and prompt reporting on Government-approved cost, schedule, performance, and risk baseline.
Required Qualifications:
Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent, and typically seven to nine years of related experience, including three to five years of supervisory/management experience. Experience using project management principles managing a large-scale project and complexity comparable to the task listed above in support of a Program Management Office. Such experience shall include planning, initiating, managing, executing, and closing out projects in support of an agency's mission. Lastly, experience relevant to one of the following areas:
1. Strategic planning and performance measurement
2. Business process reengineering, improvement, & management
3. Change Management and Transition
4. Governance
5. Advance Operating Plan development
6. Operating Plans development
Desired Qualifications:
Experience supporting the US Department of Veterans Affairs. PMP, Prince, or Six Sigma certification. Masters degree.
