Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Principal in CACI's growing Business System Solutions (BSS) organization, the desired candidate will lead the design, development, and realization of a high-level technical architecture needed as a foundation for integrating and modernizing a Federal agency. Candidate will ensure that the resulting architecture complies with existing Federal and agency Enterprise Architecture and Service-Oriented Architecture guidance, standards, and governance processes.
Other responsibilities include:
- As a technology consultant, work with technical and functional members of the project team and client stakeholders to articulate the benefits of composite application development and data virtualization.
- As an enterprise architect, works with project team and client stakeholders to ensure that program-level change management and governance processes align with agency level needs with respect to application and integration policies and standards.
- Within the context of resultant solutions, seek to achieve project and agency goals for interoperability, performance, capacity, availability, and maintainability.
- As a key client facing representative, works to support a collaborative team environment which promotes staff, sub-contractor, and client partnerships to meet common goals and shared program objectives.
- As an experienced consulting professional, advances a business model that endorses the highest level of professional ethics and client affiliations built with trust, integrity, and mutual respect.
Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrated prior experience as an architect or technical lead designing and developing composite applications, SOA-based solutions, and enterprise data virtualization.
- Demonstrated knowledge of industry best practices and methods with respect to enterprise architecture and SOA approaches, standards, and tools to include security, governance, and enterprise data management.
- 3+ years of experience working with Oracle SOA Suite to include the use of BPEL orchestrations and ESB-based solutions.
- Knowledgeable of OAGIS standards.
- Superior written and oral communication skills are required.
- Current DoD Secret Security Clearance or ability to attain one.
- Bachelor's degree in related field and 12-15 years of related experience. A Masters degree in Systems Engineering or Computer Science is a plus, but not required.
The clearance level required is dependent on the type of clearance supported by our client.
Desired Qualifications:
- 3+ years of prior Federal government consulting experience.
- Understands and can apply relevant enterprise architecture frameworks to include FEAF
- Understands and has prior experience with Federal government budget and financial systems.
- Understands and has prior experience working with Oracle's Application Integration Architecture (AiA)
