POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for providing on-site support to approximately 200 people on contract writing system (PRISM). Responsible for the PRISM system. Responsible for all processes/workflows and procedures pertaining to TRICARE Contract Management.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Works independently or as team leader responsible for providing technical guidance related to the business implications of the application of various systems.
Provides technical consulting on complex projects.
Devises and or modifies procedures to solve the most complex technical problems related to computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time and form of desired results.
Acts as liaison between end-user communities, stakeholders, and service providers within an enterprise.
Creates detailed specifications from which programs will be written.
Analyzes client resources, including funding, personnel, and unfunded requirements.
Analyzes business and user needs, documents requirements, and revises existing system logic difficulties as necessary.
Tracks and documents changes to functional and business specifications.
Monitors and documents post-implementation problems and revision requests.
Develops, coordinates and implements plans to test business and functional processes during system development and quality assurance testing.
Trains and provides guidance to less experienced Business Systems Analysts. May assign tasks to team members.
Assist in creation of training manuals. Assist in the training of PRISM contract writing system.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors Degree in computer science or seven to nine years of related experience. Strong knowledge of PC software, troubleshooting skills and excellent telephone skills. Customer service background required. This position requires hands-on with a variety of customers with varying system backgrounds. Strong people skills, Windows 7, MS Office 2003 and 2010. Excellent time management skills, management of aggressive and multiple deadlines. Previous government customer support experiences a plus.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required.
Required Qualifications:
- Must be a US Citizen and capable of obtaining and holding a ADP II.
-Bachelors Degree in computer science or seven to nine years of related experience.
-Strong knowledge of PC software, troubleshooting skills and excellent telephone skills. Customer service background required.
-A general understanding of Government contracting, FAR and DFARs is required.
- Excellent time management skills, management of aggressive and multiple deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and teaming skills.
-Windows 7, MS Office 2003 and 2010.
Desired Qualifications:
- Previous government customer support experiences a plus.
