POSITION SUMMARY:
As a company expert establishes definitions of new equipment, techniques or potential new signals in connection with radar, instrumentation, electronic counter-measurers, and communication signals and analyses and documentation of these in connection with radar, instrumentation, electronic counter-measurers, and communication signals.
DUTIES:
Serves as a Technical ELINT Analyst responsible for providing analysis and mentoring in the application of sound Technical ELINT Analysis practices. The analyst shall be capable of providing insight, advice, mentoring, and technical guidance on complex analytical problems; specifically on sophisticated signal and weapon system problems, analysis of new radar technologies, EA signals, P-Cubed analysis, and system vulnerability assessments based on sound interpretive/engineering judgment. Duties require a broad range of knowledge including Technical ELINT analysis tools and resources, signals databases, Information Needs, radar functions, pulse-level detail, and general system familiarity. Excellent written and oral communication skills also required. Specialized experience should include use of analytical tools and procedures to make precise measurements of signal parameters, ability to identify and classify common interpulse and intrapulse modulations, ability to interpret bistatic reflections for scan analysis, ability to measure beamwidths, and the ability to perform fusion analysis by merging data from other sources.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides senior guidance and direction to signal studies team in overall conduct of project(s) that are essentially signal related. Oversees the development, deployment or collection, documentation and evaluation of recordings of new or previously unexploited signal data. Provides analytical and operational support for unique tactical and strategic mission intelligence systems. Supports a range of analytical products and functions including operational scenarios, development of deployment scenarios, site assessments, and vulnerability assessments. Analyzes complex system integration requirements to identify mission vulnerability targets and develop multiple scenarios to resolve all mission threats. Perform mission planning and projections to anticipate future resource requirements to counter identified threats. Develops documentation to support objectives in support of external agencies and INSCOM Commanders. Translates analytical results into effective briefings. Analyze operational availability of strategic and tactical intelligence assets. Develops briefing reports that depict clear assessment of systems availability. Maintain mission status on assigned tactical and strategic systems.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Typically requires bachelor's degree or equivalent and 10-12 years of related experience.
The analyst shall hold a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science/Engineering, or related discipline. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree or higher, the analyst must possess 10 years of demonstrated specialized experience in Technical ELINT analysis. A Master's degree with 6 years of specialized Tech ELINT experience or a Ph. D. with five 5 years of specialized Tech ELINT experience is also acceptable.

Security Clearance:
Must possess a current TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required. May spend a lot of time standing due to laboratory conditions.
