What You’ll Get to Do:

We require a programmer to join our team to work closely with operators to design, develop, test and maintain software scripts and capabilities for processing, organizing and documenting large data sets. You will use your scripting talents to ensure data is collected and aggregated in a quick, semi-automated and consistent manner. The person who steps into this role will have the important task of ensuring accurate data is delivered to the correct stakeholders timely, and in a thorough and digestible way. You must be skilled in server-side scripting and software development with flexibility to adapt to the ever-evolving technical and mission requirements. The right person for this role will be eager to learn; innovative; be curious to research best or new practices to evolve efforts.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Must possess a TS SCI with required polygraph clearance

  • ​Bachelors degree in a scientific or related technical degree; or extensive experience in related field

  • 4+ years of experience developing scripts and applications for Linux and have familiarity with the Linux command-line environment

  • 4+ years professional experience with at least one server-side programming / scripting language such as Python, Perl, Bash or Ruby

  • Demonstrated experience with full life cycle software development

  • Experience in automated software testing and debugging

  • Experience configuring Linux servers

  • Familiarity with SQL queries and database engines such as MySQL or Postgresql

  • Ability to research, identify, and test technology products

  • Must have strong initiative - be able to design and communicate solutions from stated high level objectives

  • Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills to work across organizational boundaries and with various levels of customers and peers

  • Must be flexible - must be able to work on a team and within a team

  • Must be detail orientated, organized, be able to multi-task and be adaptable to shifting requirements

  • Must be able to work independently on tasking, deadlines and collaborate with end-users and management

These Skills Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Familiarly with big data solutions such as ELK (Elastic Search, Kibana, LogStash)

  • Experience with enterprise networks and related security requirements

  • Experience with cyber penetration testing / red teaming

  • Cybersecurity experience such as authentication design, secure coding best practices

  • Experience with Web framework development tolls and web technologies

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$85,800 - $180,200
