Duties and Responsibilities:
Serves as a subject matter expert for a fusion intelligence support team related to the movement of dual use components and technology worldwide. Specifically, analyst has prime responsibility to coordinate analytic efforts in the key areas of IED activities including components and technology. Candidate will provide advice as to alternate courses of actions and or options via clearly written studies and professional oral communications. Will identify intelligence gaps in analytic knowledge and recommend measures to rectify inadequacies. Identify emerging threats; analyze historical trends, fusing multiple sources / forms of intelligence data together for network analysis. Present briefings on a wide variety of intelligence products to general officers and senior government officials. Work closely with the Combined Explosives Exploitation Cell (CEXC), the FBI's Terrorist Explosives Division Analytical Center (TEDAC) and other governmental organizations. Link diverse analytical products derived from multiple groups.
Relocation to Charlottesville, VA and a 6-12 month deployment on a rotational basis is required.
Required Qualifications:
Must have an active TS/SCI clearance, at least six months of experience related to IED insurgency developing all-source intelligence assessments. JOURNEYMAN level experience must have 5-8 years of intelligence analytical experience. NG/Reserve time and training does not count towards experience. Required working knowledge of the national, operational and tactical intelligence infrastructure available to DOD. Must have formal service training as intelligence analyst and or formal training in conducting formal law enforcement investigations. High School Diploma is required. Typically requires bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Desired Qualifications:
Must be proficient in the use of computer tools common to the intelligence community such as; HOTR, WISE-ISM, CRMS, Pathfinder, M3, Analyst Notebook and others. Experience performing all-source analysis and fusion to provide actionable intelligence to warfighters. Military tactical and especially deployed experience is a plus. A mix of tactical and strategic experience is preferred.
