Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs duties as a Document and Media Exploitation (DOMEX) Instructor and Developer representing the Army DOMEX program. As an Instructor, provides DOMEX specific training to members of various services and agencies. Position requires providing instruction of intelligence activities to the full spectrum of military and civilian audiences. Individual takes part in monthly Mobile Training Team (MTT) events, and is responsible for instructing service members and other intelligence professionals on theory and methodology associated with DOMEX. Instructors teach tactics, techniques and procedures for acquisition, exploitation, analysis, integration, and report production specific to DOMEX. Additionally, the position requires developing teaching aids including training manuals, demonstration models, reference materials, and visual aids. Develops and presents complex training programs for customers and in-house employees. Coordinates with sales, marketing, and engineering to identify program needs, obtains technical data and schedules programs. Tests trainees to measure their learning progress and to evaluate effectiveness of training presentations. Conducts training programs on complex topics and designs and develops training program elements/modules. Provides guidance and direction to less experienced trainers utilizing strong technical and training skills. Position requires frequent travel in support of short, MTT events and, subject to the needs of the customer, deployment to hazard locations in support of military operations for periods up to six months.
Required Qualifications:
Current or previous work in the intelligence community (All Source or HUMINT). Working knowledge of military intelligence concepts and principles, military structure, and tactical operations. Basic understanding of the DOMEX process. Proficiency and heightened confidence in briefing and teaching large audiences. Qualified candidates must either possess a TS/SCI clearance/access eligibility or be eligible to obtain this level of clearance and access as defined by the Department of Defense (DOD). Position requires deployment to hazard locations in support of military operations. Qualified candidates must be deployable in accordance with Army regulations for civilian deployment. Position requires successfully meeting the requirements of DOD operated CONUS Replacement Centers (CRC). Among other aspects, this includes being medically and physically fit to endure the rigors of deployment in support of military operations and as a requirement of CRC, must have a Body Mass Index (BMI) under that of morbidly obese as defined by the Department of Health and Human Services. Requires bachelor's degree (in Training / Development or related field) or equivalent and five to seven years of related (training, sales and/or technical) experience.
Desired Qualifications:
Intelligence background with training experience and an understanding of analysis associated with Captured Enemy Documents (CED). Familiarization associated with Document/Media Exploitation (DOMEX) analytical resources and processes such as MEDEX, CELLEX, Harmony, and FIRES preferred.
