POSITION SUMMARY:
As an emerging expert, provides signals intelligence support for strategic and operational-level planning, joint and multi-lateral training exercises, and strategic engagement policy throughout the Areas of Operational Responsibility (AOR) and Areas of Interest (AOI).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Researches unclassified and classified databases for use in written products. Researches, compiles, evaluates and integrates Signals Intelligence into Intelligence Community assessments and reports, and based on US National and theater priorities. Prepares the SIGINT related portions of intelligence products and assessments. Accesses SIGINT databases used in geo spatial analysis. Performs link-and-nodal analysis, data mining, and metadata analysis utilizing geo-spatial analytical techniques; presents SIGINT findings utilizing visualization applications. Reviews and evaluates the overall reporting from assets to help determine asset validity. May serve as a client liaison and coordinates with sub-contractors, government personnel, and technical experts. May be responsible for training and mentoring junior IAs. May provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced analysts, and may have supervisory responsibilities.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Typically requires bachelor's degree or equivalent and seven to nine years of related experience.
Requires a minimum of 15 years professional experience and training in SIGINT production, SIGINT support and leadership roles directly associated with the client or its Extended Enterprise.
Requires at least 5 years experience at the executive level with management or command responsibilities, to include end-to-end SIGINT processes, generating requirements, collection management, and intelligence analysis.
Previous participation in "big picture" activities such as mission development, systems development project management, staff action management, and strategic planning.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
Six years of experience working with USSIDs 300, 301, 303, 305, and 307, corresponding to current Combined SIGINT Operating Regulations (CSORs).
Security Clearance:
Must possess current TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face-to-face. Some travel may be required. May spend a lot of time standing due to laboratory conditions.
