Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

Writes Biometric Identification Analysis Reports (BIAR). Conducts all-source intelligence data mining and analysis through the use of intelligence analysis tools and databases including Pathfinder, Biometric Automated Toolset (BAT), M3, and others, in the complete vetting of individuals for latent fingerprint identifications, targeting, Combined Review and Release Boards, base access, and in-theater employment in positions of authority. Coordinates as required with the Biometric Fusion Center (BFC), SOCOM, and forward deployed units as required. Works with Counter-IED Targeting Program to provide detailed biometrically derived intelligence to support the Counter-IED fight. Maintains familiarity with all biometric sensors deployed in support of biometric intelligence operations. Has a high degree of situational awareness concerning enemy forces' disposition, tactics, organization, and ideology in the theaters of operation. Performs other duties as assigned. Will deploy in support of mission for 6 months on a rotational basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Researches unclassified and classified databases for use in written products.

Provides research support for analysts who produce Intelligence Community reports and briefings.

Researches, writes and monitors cable traffic.

Supports field efforts to target, assess, and recruit foreign intelligence assets.

Provides guidance, case management, and support to field collection operations.

Reviews and evaluates the overall reporting from assets to help determine asset validity.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Provides the Analytical and functional activities and personnel needed for the management of the program.

Provides the centralized administrative, documentation, and related functions in support of the program.

Provides monthly status reports, to include status of in-progress and completed tasks and subtasks; financial burn rate; and data acquisition, processing, and dissemination.

Provide quarterly In Progress Reviews (IPR) to the customer.

Defines, launches, and drives mission-critical strategic and operational initiatives.

Creates a method of change management including ownership of a documentation library, communication plans, process training, etc.

Responsible for complex program management tasks and development of standards and processes for scheduling, administration, and accounting.

Provides thought leadership to project analyses and process improvement activities.

As part of the National Ground Intelligence Center (NGIC), the AAAP investigates and analyzes all attacks on US ground vehicles worldwide in an effort to identify enemy attack weapons systems, their employment and lethal effects, and recommends measures to mitigate vulnerabilities and protect US and allied personnel.

This project is well established and successful, with high customer satisfaction. We're excited to

be able to offer this opportunity. The position is for one year, where the programmer will work on a small 'tiger team,' modifying an existing web database application to conform with a new user base's set of similar requirements. It's an opportunity to take our system to a higher level, merging lesson-learned experience with both the baseline application and the new variant of user requirements.

This position requires a programmer with a background in web and database programming; a quick learner. The candidate should have experience in one or more of the following language skills; Oracle PL/SQL, PHP, XML, Java.

Duties and Responsibilities:Under minimal direction, designs, develops, implements, and maintains complex custom programs for web-based database applications.

Software Development responsibilities include assisting in development and deployment of web and database applications capable of generating stand-alone reporting as well as coordination with a master database. Responsibilities also include preparing test scenarios for quality assurance testing of developed software and performing unit, integration and deployment testing of software.

Data management responsibilities include extraction of raw data from database using SQL query and or XML as well as using data analysis tools and providing assistance with data analysis of extracted data. Responsibilities also include insertion of data from sources including Oracle exports, XML, MS Access, MS Excel, and dbf files using MS Access, Oracle SQL*Loader, other Oracle data import utilities into the master Oracle database.

Analyzes detailed systems factors, including input and output requirements, information flow, and alternative methods of problem resolution. Works with users to define existing or new system scope and objectives. Performs modifications to and maintenance of operational programs and procedures. Assists users in the operation of the application. Serves as team leader and provides guidance to less experienced staff.

Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree (in Computer Science or related field) or equivalent and ten to twelve years of related experience. SQL, HTML, javascript. Candidate must possess current CompTIA Security+ certification.

Desired Qualifications:Oracle in general; XML; PL/SQL SQL, MS Access; PHP, Java in UNIX or MS Windows. Serves as a subject matter expert for a fusion intelligence support team related to the movement of dual use components and technology worldwide.
