Description
Primary Responsibilities:
The Application Systems Analyst/Programmer 2 will perform development and system administration duties for a government agency's commercial off-the-shelf financial management system. This includes the installation and configuration of development, test, and production software environments. In addition, the candidate will monitor and troubleshoot system components, including:
- Momentum Financials
- Oracle/BEA Tuxedo and WebLogic
- webMethods
- COGNOS
- Windows 2003 and 2008
- Oracle 10g
- PKI related components
The position also entails ad-hoc technical support for development and O&M activities in support of the Momentum system and other associated applications. The candidate must possess the ability to learn quickly and independently in order to become familiar with Momentum software functionality and technical architecture. Previous experience with Momentum Financials is not required.
Required Qualifications:
- Familiarity with web-based applications and a RDBMS
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Work experience in a team environment
- Excellent client management skills
- Experience with multi-tiered applications
- Requires bachelor's degree or equivalent, and two to four years of related work experience.
Desired Experience:
- Technical systems experience with Momentum Financials
- Experience with Oracle WebLogic, XML, or J2EE development
- Technical configuration management related to migrating releases across multiple environments
- Familiarity with Financial or Acquisitions/Procurement system implementations
