Duties and Responsibilities:
Network Service Support /Application/Service Support: The individual will provide technical assistance for problems encountered during the daily operation and maintenance of the DMZ and Coalition Enclave Networks and all ancillary equipment and software. Retrieve data from DMZ and Coalition Enclave Systems and analyze to determine utilization of the services and recommend changes to maintain system efficiency, performance, and service availability. The individual will also have Customer Service/Operations Support responsibilities where they must provide acceptable and responsive services to include customer services configuration, fault isolation, quality control testing, trend analysis, performance monitoring, status reporting, ticket management, and other actions required by policies, responsibilities and operational procedures contained in DISA policies.
Required Qualifications:
Must have knowledge of and experience in IP networks (ios), routers, switches, firewalls, proxy appliances, VOIP), software systems (IIS, back-up, SQL, update services, web services, BIND), operating systems (e.g., UNIX, LINUX, XP, VISTA, Windows server, Active Directory, Exchange), and type I encryption to meet the requirements of this contract. Typically requires bachelor's degree or equivalent, and two to four years of related (data center environment) experience.
Security Plus Certification or higher is required.
The clearance level required is dependent on the type of clearance supported by our client. Must have Active Secret clearance with ability to upgrade to a Top Secret
