Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
This individual will be engaged in the accreditation of government communications systems, the implementation of vulnerability assessment systems, the review of network protection systems and the development of security policies. As part of a small team of security professionals, this individual will provide expertise in areas ranging from infrastructure protection to the proper handling of PII information. This individual will work closely with network engineers and other stakeholders to infuse security awareness into the development of new systems and the operation of current systems.
Required Qualifications:
This position requires a Full Scope Polygraph and CISSP certification.
This individual will have a strong understanding of network architecture and security equipment, processes and policies that can be used to protect the network.
Typically requires a bachelors degree or equivalent and five to seven years of related experience.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience with various intrusion detection systems.
