Description
Perform CONUS-based new equipment training for Army BETSS-C program. Develops and presents complex training programs for soldiers and contractor personnel. Coordinates with customer, TRADOC and Army PM to identify program needs, obtain technical data and schedule programs. Tests trainees to measure their learning progress and to evaluate effectiveness of training presentations. Conducts training programs on complex topics and designs and develops training program elements/modules. Provides guidance and direction to less experienced trainers utilizing strong technical and training skills.
Requires bachelor's degree (in Training/Development or related field) or equivalent and five to seven years of related (training, sales and/or technical) experience.
Special qualifications required include:
- Must be capable of passing the US Army Physical Fitness Test.
- Minimum of 4 years Special Operations experience (Waiverable upon special review) SF, Ranger, Air Force PJ/CCT, Marine Corps, Navy SEAL, Combat experience is desirable.
- Completed Military Instructor Course or equivalent.
- Must be capable of working prolonged hours in a field environment in all types of weather conditions.
- Possess current U.S. Passport.
- Must be willing to travel several weeks of the year both CONUS and OCONUS as required.
