POSITION SUMMARY:
Produce geolocation data to support the development of various intelligence reports. Using Geospatial skills and knowledge the qualified candidate will manage and facilitate the prosecution and analysis of collection data files. Additionally, general and directed radio frequency searches on targets of interest in the OEF Theater of Operation will be required to be conducted.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Interacts with professional colleagues to perform mission research, communicate operational issues, assessing digital data and assists in developing geospatial requirements and collection techniques/methodologies.
Operates in concert with geospatial analysts, passive (or active) geolocator, linguists, analysts and reporters to produce serialized and finished intelligence reports.
Interprets mission taskings for execution on a daily basis. Alerts appropriate personnel of urgent findings for immediate target prosecution and forwards data and/or tips off appropriate operators, analysts, reporters and/or senior leaders of routine findings
Performs analysis on multiple sources of data, including Electro-Optical (EO), Spectral, Thermal Infrared (TIR), Ground Moving Target Indicator (GMTI), Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR), and map-based software.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Typically requires bachelor's degree or equivalent and five plus years of related experience.
Desired Qualifications:
Minimum five years of experience using geolocation equipment and/or SIGINT Geolocation Analysis (SGA) to produce data in support of various intelligence reports.
Experience with communications intelligence collection equipment.
Applicable certifications and technologies specific to geolocation, collections, and radio frequency COMINT desired.
Language experience a plus.
Familiarity with the following software packages a plus: AN/PRD-13, AIRHANDLER, STORY CLASSIC, MEWSS, HITS DRAGONFLY, WHAMI, ELCC, TPCS, RAS Subsystems, WITCHHUNT, TEMPTRESS.
Security Clearance:
Must have a curent TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required. May spend a lot of time standing due to laboratory conditions.
