Description

This position requires candidates to currently hold a TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance. Due to the classified nature of the program we are unable to advertise the specific polygraph. Details will be discussed with qualified candidates.

Serves as a company expert on acquisition management, program management and program oversight. Provides recommendations on program oversight, procurement processing, financial management, and acquisition policies. Provides the expertise in DoD, Joint, and NSA administrative processes to guide programs through all levels of milestone oversight and staff research from internal review of NSA Senior Acquisition Executive approval to outside agency oversight for acquisition approval at the Defense Acquisition Board in ODNI and OSD levels. Oversees the analysis of the most complex problems relating to government acquisition and program management. Performs original research to conceptualize program strategy or innovative acquisition designs that maximizes effectiveness. Develops and updates organization policy, practices or automated systems to incorporate changes in statute, economic conditions or best practices in use in the industry.

Required Qualifications:

Typically requires bachelor's degree (in business or technical field) or equivalent, and 12-15 years of related experience. Understands all integrated aspects of acquisition cycle from basic research to production and test. Skilled at applying acquisition-streamlining techniques. Must possess experience in Microsoft Office products such as Excel,Word and PowerPoint. Ability to work both independently and as an effective team member. Experience showing flexibility to cope with a changing environment and short deadlines. Experience in planning and organizing; excellent communication and customer skills (both verbal and written). Requires an active TS/SCI clearance, with a Polygraph, and the specific clearance type required is dependent on the customer's requirements.

Desired Qualifications:

Professional certification DAWIA (Level III preferred) in any of the acquisition related fields, or equivalent commercial certification e.g., Project Management Institute (PMI), including Project Management Professional certification; National Contract Management Association, including Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) certification.
