Duties and Responsibilities:
CACI has a near-term openings for Engineering Technicians to support the SHAPEC Program Office of the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard (PNS) efforts in Kittery, Maine.
CACI is looking for a seasoned professionals with intimate knowledge and experience developing, creating, and reviewing Job Summaries and Task Group Instructions (TGIs). Candidates will also be assisting with other Deficiency Form problems and preparing Sales Costs estimates. All work is in support of the SHAPEC organization working on 688 Class and Virginia Class Submarine engineering projects.
Required Qualifications:
Requires high school diploma or equivalent, and at least three years of related engineering technician experience. Technical training equivalent to an associate's degree is preferred. Other required qualifications include:
- Person with strong SHAPEC experience
- Must have specific experience with submarine systems
- Knowledge of US Navy Shipyard applications, especially AIM.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Experience with MS Office suite of products.
Must be able to obtain a DoD Confidential security clearance.
Desired Qualifications:
- Command of the Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent verbal and communication skills.
