Description
Performs system and subsystem definition, preliminary and detailed design, design implementation, and subsystem and system integration and tests for a system. Participates in software requirement review, preliminary and critical design, integration readiness review, and software acceptance review.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Work with the Solutions Architect in order to implement a plan that will reorganize struts files, standardize programming practices, migrate older servelt based programs, insure all programs are 508 compliant. Mentor Programmers, perform peer reviews, analyze, code and unit test.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Typically requires bachelor's degree or equivalent and seven to nine years of related experience.
Required Qualifications:
Experience with:
Using Struts
Eclipse (or similar development tool such as RAD)
Java Programming
Design and Development Planning
Strong Analytical skills
Desired Qualifications:
Professional Certification
Experience with:
AF GCSS Architecture
System-to-System Interfaces
Webshpere Application Server
SQL Developer, TOAD and other development tools.
