Duties and Responsibilities:
CACI has an immediate opening for deployable Geospatial Intelligence Analysts to support several dynamic missions. The successful candidate will be able to provide geospatial analysis, incorporating multi-INT fusion in support operations. Routine duties will include responding to real-time incident reporting as part of a team. The analyst will directly support the operations center by integrating GIS capabilities for national decision-makers in response to actionable intelligence.
The candidate will perform as a geospatial analyst to acquire, synthesize, integrate, and present geospatial intelligence and other information from a variety of sources. Conduct line of site analysis, terrain classification, and threat and vulnerability analyses using GIS software. Research, assess, integrate, extract, and manipulate geospatial and imagery data from multiple sources. Reformat, convert, and transfer geospatial data and process and visualize maps and images.
Position will require 6 month deployments.
Qualifications and Responsibilities:
· Queries, assesses, integrates, manipulates, exploits, extracts, and analyzes digital data and imagery (full spectrum literal and non-literal), both geospatial and research databases, and various ancillary sources.
· Completes data analysis and evaluation, geospatial data reformat and conversion, and photo interpretation.
· Familiar with Airborne, National Technical Means (NTM) , Commercial, Overhead Non-Imaging Infra-Red (ONIR), and Full Motion Video (FMV) analysis Capabilities
· Working knowledge of some of the following: ArcGIS, Falcon view, Erdas Imagine, Google Earth, Socet GXP
· Performs data fusion by combining various types of data (EO, TIR, SAR, etc.) to create a product with an increased level of understanding of the targeted area than can be achieved with a single data source.
· Typical products that will be required to produce are: Raster Data Sets, Gridded Reference Graphics, Orthorectified Imagery, Topo Production Capability Maps, Damage Assessment Graphics, 3D Planning Models or High Values Individual Target Locations
Desired Qualifications:
· Experience working in a deployed environment
· Experience with National Exploitation System (NES) or Imagery Exploitation Support System (IESS)
· Have a working knowledge of multi-spectral imagery, hyper-spectral imagery, the targeting process, battle damage assessment, and secondary imagery transmission/archive systems
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- BS (Physics, Remote Sensing, Mathematics, Image Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or other relevant field of study
- 5 or more years of related experience.
