The Imagery Scientist will work with other multi-disciplinary remote sensing scientists and engineers providing data analysts. As a Subject Matter Expert (SME), the candidate will provide scientific analysis and products gleaned from the exploitation of multispectral image (MSI) and hyper-spectral image (HSI) data from multiple sources for the customer. The individual assist in the design of new processes for future sensors. The candidate will provide products to the customer via web dissemination, database up-dates, or direct reporting as prescribed by the customer . When required, the candidate will provide informational briefings for the purpose of educating analysts and managers on the capabilities of spectral data and their potential application. This may require the presentation of technical information or case studies resulting from operational support requests.
