Description
Position will focus on network equipment support requiring general knowledge to support an operational environment. Candidate should have demonstrated supervisory experience as a team leader and CISCO experience and certifications.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills
- Team work orientation and coordination
- Ability to troubleshoot network issues (Exchange, BES, DFS)
- Six or more years of experience in LAN/MAN/WAN support and administration
- Experience planning implementation of enhancement and upgrades to the network,
- Thorough knowledge in investigating and resolving network related problems.
Education:
Bachelor's degree ore equivalent training and/or experience
Duties and Responsibilities:
Configure, implement, troubleshoot and maintain CISCO and IP Networks
- Analyze, identify, and resolve network hardware, circuit, and transmission logic problems
- Monitor network hardware
- Advise network users of hardware requirements, configuration, and limitations
- Isolate, resolve, or circumvent network problems
- Install, test, and repair voice, data, and video equipment
- Maintain equipment and analyze operational malfunctioning with test equipment
- Assemble equipment, mount brackets and connect wires
- Test newly install equipment and repair or replace faulty equipment
- Manage accounts, network rights, and access to extensive, complex systems and equipment
- Implement security procedures and tools
- Configuration Management and Change Control
