Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop, write, and test disaster recovery / contingency plans and continuity of operation plans for IT systems. Develop operational guide covering all aspects of a fully compliant contingency program. Develop and write Security Accreditation (Certification and Accreditation) documentation, perform independent ST&E evaluations, and conduct annual security reviews in accordance with NIST Special Publication 800-37 Rev 1 and other NIST guidance. Develop and track corrective actions for audit findings and manage the POA&M reporting process for the agency. Develop, analyze, and administer the entity-wide Security Planning using the existing documentation, industry standards and federal government legislation. Design, implement, document, and evaluate government computer security programs. Develop government security policy documentation.
Required Qualifications:
Experience developing complex continuity plans, standard operating procedures and conducting Business Impact Analyses.
Experience interacting with inter- and intra-agency staff in the development of continuity programs and plans. Proven ability to provide insight on all aspects COOP and COG programs.
Requires US Citizenship and an Active Top Secret Clearance.
Typically requires bachelor's degree or equivalent, and ten to twelve years of related experience.
Desired Qualifications:
Masters Degree, Industry Certification (BCI, DRII or FEMA)
