CACI is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to design, implement, and sustain a modern automated policy driven for the teams DevSecOps environment. We are seeking an experienced developer with experience with securing and managing a Linux based server client architecture in Aberdeen, MD.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Configure and customize tools to enable automation.

  • Develop and enhance our DevOps operations.

  • Perform in the entire software development life cycle of the DevOps tool chain with a focus on test construction, packaging, deployment, results analysis, and reporting.

  • Collaborate on idea creation and development of the DevOps tool chain supporting test

  • Support the ongoing lifecycle maintenance of the DevOps tool chain

  • Create tools for automating deployment, monitoring, and operations of the platform

  • Troubleshoot production incidents that often span across multiple teams, services, and codebases

  • Provide ongoing maintenance and support of internal tools to improve system health and reliability

  • Deploy, configure, and maintain systems, including software installation, update, and core services.

  • Perform container management.

  • Deliver RMF documentation to support accreditation efforts.

  • Implement applicable patches including IA vulnerability alerts (IAVA), IA vulnerability bulletins (IAVB), and technical advisories (TA) for the CE operating system(s).

  • An understand/knowledge of Cybersecurity RMF Controls Validation Testing

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance

  • Must be able to receive a favorable Poly

  • BS in cyber security, computer science or computer programing and least 5 years’ experience in Information Assurance and with Information Assurance Technology

  • Experienced with coding and scripting languages such as Python, Bash, JavaScript etc..

  • Strong understanding of distributed systems and micro services, and a familiarity with Docker and/or Kubernetes.

  • Comfortable in at least one high-level scripting language (PowerShell, Python, Bash, etc.), and the desire and willingness to continuously expand your toolset

  • 2+ years of experience with python programming

  • 4+ years of Linux operating systems

  • 2+ years’ experience in DevOps, or Systems Engineering roles within an organization

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Passion for open source projects and collaborations

  • Software development experience

  • Participation in total software development lifecycle

  • Experience with UNIX systems

  • Development of Continuous Integration (CI) / Continuous Deployment (CD) pipelines

  • Knowledge of the Certification and Accreditation (C&A) and EMASS and or Latte Art RMF processes

  • Must be able to work well on independent engagements as well as within a team setting

  • Strong client presence and interaction abilities

  • Some understanding of military hierarchy.
