CACI is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mid to Senior Cyber Security Engineer to join our Cybersecurity Team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles and specialized expertise in eMASS (Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service), STIG (Security Technical Implementation Guide), ACAS (Assured Compliance Assessment Solution), and the ability to conduct Security Control Assessment - Authorization (SCA-A) assessments. In this role, you will be a key contributor to ensuring the security and compliance of our DOD systems and networks. This position is located at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Security Control Assessment - Authorization (SCA-A).

  • Conduct SCA-A assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of implemented security controls.

  • Collaborate closely with project teams and stakeholders to address findings and make necessary improvements.

  • Prepare comprehensive SCA-A reports with actionable recommendations for decision-makers.

  • Security Documentation and Consultation.

  • Create and maintain detailed security documentation related to RMF, eMASS, STIG compliance, ACAS assessments, and SCA-A.

  • Offer expert guidance and cybersecurity best practices to project teams and stakeholders.

  • Foster collaboration with system administrators, developers, and other teams to ensure seamless security integration.

  • eMASS Implementation and Management.

  • Leverage eMASS to support the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process.

  • Facilitate the registration, assessment, and authorization of DOD systems and applications in eMASS.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure thorough documentation and adherence to DOD and Army cybersecurity policies.

  • STIG Compliance.

  • Execute comprehensive security assessments of DOD systems and applications to identify vulnerabilities.

  • Apply STIGs and security controls to mitigate identified vulnerabilities effectively.

  • Maintain and regularly update STIG compliance records and associated documentation.

  • ACAS Proficiency.

  • Utilize ACAS to perform in-depth vulnerability scans and assessments.

  • Analyze scan results meticulously and collaborate with system administrators to remediate vulnerabilities.

  • Ensure the proper configuration and ongoing effectiveness of ACAS in identifying security weaknesses.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • An active DoD Secret clearance.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity with a focus on eMASS, STIG, ACAS, and SCA-A assessments.

  • Possession of industry-recognized certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH, is highly desirable.

  • Proficiency in using eMASS, STIG tools, and ACAS for security assessments.

  • Strong familiarity with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and DOD cybersecurity policies.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$75,200 - 158,100 USD
