CACI is seeking a Principal DSP Engineer for our Aberdeen Proving Team. As a team member of the team, you will get to design, develop, and implement SIGINT software solutions, integrate these onto Open Architecture Software Frameworks, such as GNU Radio, REDDHAWK, PHOTON, MORA, X-MIDAS, etc., as well as participate in reverse engineering, prototyping, develop, improve SIGINT system architecture, systems demonstrations, and proof of concepts for systems to help the Army and other DoD entities.
What You’ll Get to Do:
Design, develop, and implement SIGINT software solutions
Develop and improve SIGINT system architecture
Develop future adaptation of signal processing solutions and algorithms to new signal types
Reverse engineer existing RF signal processing solutions
Integrate SIGINT solutions in a REDHAWK, PHOTON, and MORA Framework
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Education: MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Applied Math, or Physics from an accredited university
Minimum of 20 years’ experience with SIGINT detector and application development
Experience working with NSA and national capabilities
Demonstrated high level experience and achievement with developing signal processing algorithms
Demonstrated experience with MATLAB or similar filter design
Demonstrated expertise with one or more SDR frameworks
Demonstrated proficiency with non-window operating system such as Linux, CentOS, Ubuntu, etc.
Self-starter with good interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
Experience with Git version control
Must have a TS/SCI and obtain a favorable CI Polygraph
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science Computer Engineering, Applied Math, or Physics Engineering from an accredited university.
Experience with integrating, implementing, and testing of RF, PNT, SW, SBC… OPEN VPX cards on CMOSS platform
Ability to evaluate technical trade-offs
Experience with GNU Radio, REDHAWK, X-MIDAS, PHOTON, or MORA
