CACI International Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) Analyst in Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland

Job Description

As a Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) Analyst you'll exploit imagery, imagery products (including Advanced Geospatial Intelligence) and geographic products and data to create intelligence solutions for the Warfighter and senior government officials. Conduct Geographic Information Systems analysis (including spatial processing & analysis). You will provide geospatially driven predictions of threat activity based on a range of previously observed and evaluated physical signatures .

Responsibilities:

  • Queries, assesses, integrates, manipulates, exploits, extracts, and analyzes digital data and imagery (full spectrum literal and non-literal), both geospatial and research databases, and various ancillary sources.

  • Completes data analysis and evaluation, geospatial data reformat and conversion, and photo interpretation.

  • Performs application engineering development; processes digital imagery; customizes product generation; researches and gathers information; performs customer information analysis.

  • Translates GEOINT requirements into appropriate requests for imagery or queries using all available imaging sensors or GEOINT data bases. Interacts with Intelligence community professionals to communicate and collaborate on research mission, issues, and geospatial requirements.

  • Downloads web-based data and prepare/process for exploitation. Performs intelligence analysis on multiple sources of data, including but not limited to Synthetic Aperture RADAR, (SAR) Thermal Infrared (TIR), Spectral, Electro-Optical (EO), Moving Target Indicator (MTI), Full Motion Video (FMV), non-imaging infrared and Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR).

  • Performs data fusion by combining various types of data (EO, TIR, SAR, etc. ) to create a product with an increased level of understanding of the targeted area than can be achieved with a single data source.

  • Applies special techniques to extract additional intelligence from Geospatial products (AGI).

    Required Skills:

  • Must possess current TS/SCI clearance.

  • Requires BA/BS with 3-10yrs experience /or AAS plus 4yrs experience to the base 3-10yrs requirement / or High School (GED) plus 6yrs experience to the base 3-10yrs requirement.

  • Experience and knowledge with Synthetic Aperture RADAR, (SAR) Thermal Infrared (TIR), Spectral, Electro-Optical (EO), Moving Target Indicator (MTI), Full Motion Video (FMV), non-imaging infrared and Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR)

  • Expert knowledge with GEOINT software and analysis tools including RemoteView, SOCET GXP, MOVINT, ERDAS Imagine, ArcGIS and ESRI tools.

  • Must be willing to work rotating shifts if needed .

    Desired Skills:

  • Bachelor of Art degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) or Geography

  • Previous military experience. Knowledgeable in intelligence disciplines capabilities, limitations, and platforms to include HUMINT, SIGINT, IMINT, and OSINT.

  • Proficient in latest instructional methods and techniques.

  • Post 9/11 experience conducting deployed imagery analysis.

  • Documented experience supporting ground tactical operations in established combat zones.

  • Documented experience conducting imagery analysis to enable targeting of human networks.
