Required Qualifications:
Provide support for software and system implementation, configuration, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems (laptops, desktop computers, servers, printers) to include the configuration of the hardware devices with an AGM image.
Knowledge and ability to assist with troubleshooting and resolving IT and operating system issues for the end user.
Experience with testing and applying security patches and operating system upgrades to ensure the security and integrity of networks and systems.
Familiar with STIG checklists, ACAS/NESSUS scanning tools, familiarity with POA&Ms.
Experience with mitigating security vulnerabilities on Windows and Linux systems.
Apply software updates, security updates, vendor patches (service packs, service releases), information assurance vulnerability alerts (IAVAs) to end user devices and servers (file, print and application).
Ability to perform Windows server configuration and administration (Administrative tools, Active Directory, Domain Controllers, NAS, etc.)
System administration experience with VMWare, Windows, and Linux platforms.
Familiar with Army regulations AR25-2, DoD and NIST policies.
Familiar with the RMF process, assisting with the development of artifacts toward an accreditation.
Possess excellent customer service skills, and excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Strong understanding of security principles and industry best practices
Able to work independently and self-motivated.
Ability to work in a team focused, dynamic environment.
All other duties as assigned.
Must be punctual with regular and consistent attendance.
Active TS/SCI
HS/GED with >5 years’ experience
Network + DOD 8570 IAT Level I
Certified CompTIA Security Desired Qualifications
Familiarity with PowerShell, scripting, and configuration of GPO settings is a plus.
Monitoring and developing the procedures for backup of servers.
