C5ISR Center is seeking a self-motivated Lead Integration & Testing Engineer to join our team in delivering mission critical solutions for a variety of stakeholders at our Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD location.
What You’ll Get to Do:
We are seeking subject matter expert with comprehensive knowledge of Integration and Test of hardware/software and DoD systems for our location in APG, MD. The successful candidate will excel in leading all aspects of test in support of a mission critical effort and will be responsible for developing evaluation and test plans/procedures, directing/executing test procedures, and documenting/communicating results and analysis to both internal and external groups. The Engineer will lead junior test engineers and coordinate with other technical and program project staff to identify and capture defects, troubleshoot and resolve testing issues, and ensure conformance of products to specifications. The Engineer will support the successful development and execution of Government test and evaluation processes. This position will require excellent critical thinking skills to debug, analyze and verify products meet functional and performance requirements.
More About the Role:
Responsibilities will include though not limited to the following:
Direct/execute tests and report on testing status, including metrics on defects and test progress
Lead Test & Evaluation tasks and serve as the primary test liaison to external government and industry stakeholders
Lead Junior Integration/Test Engineers and coordinate with other technical product teams to create and maintain test artifacts, including test plans, test procedures, test vectors, and defect reports
Ensure test readiness through training of test event participants, acquisition/maintenance of necessary resources including equipment & facilities, and documentation/control of plans, procedures, readiness reports, etc.
Design data sampling schemes and assist in developing and improving testing methodologies & tools
Participate in Test & Evaluation WIPT/Integrated Test Teams
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Active SECRET US Government security clearance
9+ years' experience of formal testing of systems is required
- 7 years of related experience and an Engineering Bachelor’s Degree
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Tactical Radio experience is preferred
Experience working with DoD systems; especially tactical radios/networks
Ability to prioritize tasks and keep the project organized
Strong Hardware/Electronics test/troubleshooting experience
Motivated self-starter; takes initiative; works proactively
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Strong experience with electronic test equipment
Ability to automate test procedures and data analysis activities
Experience as a technical/test task lead
Must be detail-oriented and organized
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
