CACI is seeking a CNC Machinist at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Aberdeen Maryland.
What You’ll Get to Do:
The candidate will perform fabrication, integration, and assembly activities associated with prototype development.
Determine the appropriate fabrication equipment or method based on requirements.
Perform fabrication, modification, and installation of mechanical components and subsystems.
Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.
Perform complex set-up and machining operations, on various machine tools such as vertical mills, lathes, drill press, multiple spindle drills and riveting machines.
Skilled in the use of measuring tools and test instruments.
Experience in using electrical and manual tools (saws, squares, calipers etc.)
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
Possess an understanding of methods used to produce fabricated parts.
Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.
Skilled in the use of sheet metal and machine tools such as shears, breaks, saws, milling machines, welding machines, and lathes.
Possess an understanding of methods used to produce fabricated parts.
Program, setup, and operate 3-, 4-, or 5-axis CNC machines.
Collaborate with design engineers, make recommendations and share best practices with machining approaches and materials as a subject matter expert (SME) on machining
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
SolidWorks / CREO CAD experience.
CAD/ CAM (MasterCam) Software experience.
Knowledge of manufacturing quality assurance processes
CNC Programming for HAAS Lathes and other HAAS Machines
Active SECRET security clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.
These Qualifications Are Nice TO Have:
CAD/ CAM Software experience
Experience in manual milling and lathe machines
Experience in TIG and MIG welding
D1.1, D1.2.1, and D17.1 Welding Certifications

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$57,500 - 117,900 USD
