CACI is seeking a cleared Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) Engineer. The Army G-6 is tasked to align PKI initiatives in support of Federal, Department of Defense (DoD) and Army mandates. This requires an understanding of current PKI technology capabilities already implemented across both the Army and DoD, analyzing trends in technology advancement, and ensuring policy directives reflect technology advancements in a manner that sustains information security for the warfighter.
What You’ll Get to Do:
Develop and execute DoD and National Security System (NSS) PKI audits virtually, hybrid and onsite for Army Local Registration Authority
Travel as necessary to key locations to conduct Registration Authority (RA) and Local Registration Authority (LRA) PKI compliance audits.
Develop strategies, policies, and architecture to identify issues and gaps, and determine the requirements for the future state.
Holistically address both Army and DoD PKI infrastructure to include a review of relevant regulations, directives, mandates, policies, and supporting technical specifications, blueprints, and procedures
Evaluate the current PKI infrastructure to identify the elements that provide clear return on investment and determine how to leverage those for future expansion
Assessment of the current-state DoD PKI program, requirements, processes, standard operating procedures, and technologies
Assess and provide recommendations on how PKI technologies are deployed within the tactical environment
Assess and evaluate new and emerging PKI technologies that can be utilized across the Army
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
An active DoD Secret Clearance
DoD 8570.1 Information Assurance Manager (IAM) Level II certification: CISM (Certified Information Security Manager), GSLC (Global Information Assurance Certification – Security Leadership Certification), CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), or CASP (CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner)
Available for 50% Travel
5+ years of experience working in the Public Key Infrastructure, Identity Management Cyber Security, or related fields
Excellent writing and communication skills especially in regards to writing policy.
Knowledgeable in the general principles supporting the Army’s implementation of PKI policies, guidelines, and procedures.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
BS degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or Engineering related fields
Two to Four years’ experience working with DoD and/or Headquarters Department of the Army (HQDA)
Forward thinker with a positive attitude, professional behavior, and motivated to learn the client’s mission and complete the task

Pay Range: The proposed salary range for this position is $65,300-$134,000. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
