CACI is seeking an Intermediate RF Engineer for our Aberdeen Proving Team. As a team member of the team, you will get to support research and engineering efforts of C5ISR Modular Open Suite of Standards (CMOSS) radio solutions. You will also get to help develop solutions for other Open Architectures such as VICTORY and SOSA, as well as participate in reverse engineering, prototyping, system demonstrations, and proof of concepts for systems to help the Army and other DoD entities.
What You’ll Get to Do:
Design and implement testing of RF and other hardware portions of software defined radio frameworks
Reverse engineer existing RF signal processing solutions
Integrate SIGINT solutions into CMOSS, VICTORY, and SOSA aligned frameworks
Help the Army define and implement CMOSS/VICTORY/SOSA standards and solutions for the intelligence community
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Applied Math, Physics or related field from an accredited university
8 years’ overall experience participating in RF Open architecture implementation projects
Familiar with non-windows operating systems, such as Linux based OS (RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu, etc.)
Familiar with CMOSS, VICTORY, and SOSA standards
TS/SCI and able to obtain a Poly
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Applied Math, or Physics
Experience with MATLAB filter design
Experience with GNU Radio, REDHAWK, X-MIDAS, PHOTON, or MORA
Ability to evaluate technical trade-offs
Self-starter with good interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
Experience with radio frequency (RF) communications and/or radar systems
Current 8750 Level 2 Certification
