CACI International Systems Administrator in Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland
CACI is seeking a System Administrator for resolving IT hardware and software infrastructure (servers, network, security, etc.) issues using systems analysis techniques and procedures to ensure appropriate function of hardware, software or system functional specifications for CLM at Aberdeen proving Ground, MD.
What You’ll Get to Do:
Will serve as a Systems Administrator on the NIPR and DREN networks.
Engage and collaborate with a small team of technical experts in DoD and the infrastructure team supporting operations in a high op-tempo environment.
Microsoft Windows workstations and servers for use on internal development networks possibly production systems.
Work closely with other System administrators and help desk to maintain and trouble shoot workstations while providing sustained network connectivity on the assigned network.
Responsibilities also include resolving IT hardware and software infrastructure issues using systems analysis techniques and procedures to ensure appropriate function of hardware, software or system functional specifications.
Troubleshoot and correct a variety of problems on Windows based workstations, servers, and peripheral equipment.
Provide feedback on lessons learned.
Provide status updates to customers and management.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
BS in IT or IT management and 2- 3 years direct experience or 3-5 years same experience.
Basic knowledge of windows operating system.
Experience with installing, building, and troubleshooting Windows based servers and workstations.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Experience in systems administration in one or more of the following areas:
Server 2012R2, Server 2008R2, Windows 7, or Windows 10.
Redhat or CentOS Linux.
Active Directory and Group Policy management.
Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS).
Citrix Netscaler and Storefront.
Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).
Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS)
Microsoft SQL Server.
