CACI is seeking a qualified and experienced Contractor Special Security Officer to support contractors, government customers and the Facility Security Officer (FSO) in Albuquerque, NM. In this role, you will be responsible for providing security support in multiple facets of security operations, ensuring classified information is properly safeguarded and will provide on-site support for all security actions in accordance with corporate and governmental policies, regulations, and directives. All work is performed in a contractor facility, off-base, with a security team to support a DOD program. This position requires a Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility. What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Perform duties related to the Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Administrative Security Manual and enforce applicable SCI directives, regulations, and guidelines to adequately manage a SCIF to include inspections, audits, reviews, access control rosters and verification of all visitors

  • Administer personnel security such as security investigations, SCI eligibility requests, developing and delivering security briefings, indoctrinations, and debriefings

  • Develop and submit annual self-inspections, SCI Co-Use Agreements, and Fixed Facility Checklists

  • Perform Physical Security duties and responsibilities such as access control, survey areas, review and approve facility drawings for modifications to classified areas ensuring compliance with company and government regulations and requirements

  • Security oversight of COMSEC with an NSA account to include the transfer of accounting information electronically between COMSEC accounts and the Central Office with DIAS

  • Conduct COMSEC item inventories

  • Change single and two-person integrity lock combinations

  • Conducts periodic reviews of documentation for proper security controls and markings as well as random inspections

  • Update and develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Emergency Action Plan (EAP) as required

  • Perform duties applicable to the Director Central Intelligence Directives (DCID) and the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM)

  • Investigate, report and correct security infractions or violations.

  • Report and respond to facility alarms and update paperwork as required.

  • Supports staff appointed as Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) and Officer (ISSO) with administrative duties and other general security guidance for project planning

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Active DOD Top Secret Clearance and eligibility for SCI

  • 5 plus years’ experience working as CSSO managing security in support of Intelligence Community and DoD programs.

  • A degree (Bachelor’s preferred) or comparable security/SCI experience

  • Familiarity/working knowledge with the following is highly desired: DoD 5105.21-M-1, Sensitive Compartmented Information Administrative Security Manual; National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and Supplement (NISPOMSUP); Director of Central Intelligence Directives (DCID) 6/3, 6/4, 6/9; and the DoD Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) and Defense Information Security System (DISS) Database.

  • Experience with NSA COMSEC account.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Industrial Security for 100+ personnel

  • ICD-705 SCIF accreditation experience

  • Experience with NSA COMSEC to include KMI or SKL

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$49,700 - $101,800
