Military Logistics background is highly desirable to include terminology, FAR or other US Government agency requirements, and depot warehousing processes. This role would be responsible for performing a high level of data entry, schedule maintenance, and follow-up. Level of responsibility may include overseeing warehouse operations when the Warehouse Manager is not present. This position performs an array of functions which includes (but is not limited to), receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking up equipment local or long distance, picking and filling orders from existing stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing and organizing stock in the warehouse as well as performing physical inventory audits as directed.
What You’ll Get to Do:

Data entry and database knowledge. Proficiency is key.
Compiles and maintains material and parts inventory and status information to expedite movement of material and parts between production areas, according to predetermined production schedules and order priorities.
Locates and distributes materials to specified production areas, manually or using handcart, hand-truck, or forklift.
Examine material received, verify part numbers and serial numbers if required, check for any discrepancies, such as damaged or unmarked parts and communicate any findings to Purchasing and management as needed.
Drive truck to outlying work areas to pick up or deliver materials.
Operate a manually controlled gasoline, electric or liquid propane gas powered forklift to transport goods and materials of all kinds about a warehouse.
Perform day-to-day, routine tasks, following established guidelines. In handling unusual non-routine problems, receives specific guidance from supervisor or other officials. May direct and coordinate the activities of other workers engaged in handling goods to be shipped or being received.
Perform Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook tasking
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance
4 Years of experience in warehouse operations or Associate’s degree with 2 years’ experience
State issued driver’s license
Ability to drive short and long distances in a standard or large truck (F150-F350 type vehicles, does not include CDL tractors)
Ability to lift 40 lbs and physically maneuver up/down stairs or ladders
Computer data entry experience in warehousing inventory database
Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
- Commercial Driver’s License
