In support of the Joint Navigation Warfare Center (JNWC) contract, you will be a part of our team’s efforts to empower the Department of Defense’s navigation warfare (NAVWAR) mission ensuring positioning, navigation and timing superiority. Our mission is to provide combatant commanders and joint force commanders with subject matter expertise on planning and conducting NAVWAR by providing knowledge of friendly and enemy NAVWAR Order of Battle and PNT-related successes and threats.

About the Role:

  • Responsible for determining optimal approach to testing complex products or solutions in order to assure compliance with applicable specifications. This includes identifying and recommending product or solution characteristics that optimize their ability to be tested or to provide test data for diagnostic purposes.

  • Combines customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledges technical, schedule and cost constraints.

  • Develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for completing systems. Coordinates integrated testing activities.

  • Reviews and evaluates test requirements to ensure completeness of test program.

  • Performs technical analysis of complete systems and prepares comprehensive system level evaluations.

  • Responsible for continuous enhancement and engineering support to the Joint Navigation Warfare Center.

  • Develops creates and executes software test plans; responsible for hardware configuration management; performs requirements analysis; performs system designs; maintains system configuration and performs equipment and software installations

  • Develops implementation plans, software, and documentation. In addition, writes, rewrites and/or edits other technical documents such as technical procedure manuals, user manuals, programming manuals, service manuals, operational specifications, and related technical publications to communicate clearly and effectively technical specifications, instructions, management documentation to a wide range of audiences.

  • Understands how to generate NAVWAR RF testing environments in accordance with laws, policy, and predefined test parameters.

  • Works as a member of a small specialized technical team, performs full life‐cycle system development support in a rapid development/rapid fielding environment.

  • Acquires subject knowledge by interviewing product developers, observing performance of production methods, referring to technical specifications, blueprints, engineering illustrations, and trade journals.

  • Provides configuration management support of technical documentation.

  • Works closely with Government Systems personnel and managers on various projects.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • 5/7/10/12 Yrs Relevant experience. Multiple levels needed

  • BA/BS in engineering, computer science, information technology, systems engineering, math, statistics or related field; prefer Quality Engineer Certification (CQE) or other equivalent

  • Current TS/SCI clearance
