What You’ll Get to Do :

  • Will be a part of a team that is responsible for all program level financial analysis and reporting for a growing program.

  • Duties may include program cost control and management using cost baselines, revenue and profit recognition and forecasting, customer reporting and invoicing support, monthly, quarterly, annual, and multi-year planning, monthly forecasting, program compliance with FAR and GAAP regulations,

  • Ensure compliance with financial controls, procedures, system requirements, and forecasting techniques, as directed, to evaluate contract/program status and ensure compliance with government and customer requirements.

  • Monitor progress of program requirements and cost performance against plans to ensure contractual cost obligations are met.

  • Conduct financial analysis (variance analysis, risk analysis, profit/loss analysis, etc.) and report findings to team.

  • Work with team to create & update Estimate at Completions on Task Orders, monitor profit, and recommend potential profit improvement opportunities.

More About the Role :

Forecast Preparation & Updating

Work with team to develop annual financial plan, provide monthly financial forecast updates & submissions by the specified due dates.

Identify and quantify potential Risks & Opportunities to the financial forecast.

Financial Reporting

Perform routine and non-routine project financial reporting including, but not limited to: Project Profit and Loss Statements, Project Status Reports, Project Management Review (PMR) Reports, 75% Funding Notifications, Estimates to Complete, Estimates at Completion, Forecast and Budget Reports, Invoice Backup Reports, and various other client-specific reports.

Quality Control

Identify process deficiencies and provide recommendations for process improvements to enhance performance and value.

May at times, provide guidance, coaching and training to other employees within job area.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in finance or a related field

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in project related finance using financial management software (Deltek, ORACLE ERP, SAP)Attention to Detail

  • Experience with building a financial forecast from the ground up including application of wrap rates and burdens.

  • Experience with analyze plans, forecasts, actual costs, variances and communicating trends to the program, line, and financial management.

  • Experience with building reports and charts based on verbal guidance for various internal and external requirements.

  • Experience with Government Contracting specific to Finance.

  • Knowledge of DFARS/FAR and other applicable government regulations.

  • Must be well experienced with MS Excel (VLOOKUP, SUMIF, PIVOT Tables, etc).

  • Experience with Deltek Costpoint

  • Active Secret clearance with the ability to Obtain TS/SCI.

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have :

  • Experience with IBM COGNOS, and Oracle CAPS & SmartView

  • Experience/Exposure to Corporate Accounting.

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$59,100 - $124,100
