What You’ll Get to Do

CACI is seeking a property custodian to support our Department of Defense (DoD) client in managing government property across multiple work sites. The work will be performed on a CACI contract as a member of a highly productive team that builds and maintains business systems used to support DoD’s acquisition management processes.

You will perform these duties:

  • Administer and maintain control and accountability for IT property

  • Ensure property is properly labeled with asset identification and serial numbers

  • Ensure all assets are stored properly in secure areas

  • Ensure physical inventories are completed, records are reconciled, and discrepancies are resolved

  • Complete property adjustment records for any lost, damaged, or stolen equipment identified during inventories, turn-ins, and changeovers

  • Coordinate with other DoD property contacts to ensure the client is compliant with DoD property management policies and processes

  • Develop and establish the client-specific standard operating procedures for property accountability

  • Maintain property accountability records

  • Ensure all accountable property is entered into the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS)

More About the Role

  • Communicate and coordinate with the client’s Information Technology Points of Contact (ITPOCs)

  • Ensure ITPOCs understand their property accountability roles and responsibilities by developing, maintaining, and distributing standard operating procedures

  • Develop client-specific property accountability checklists to prepare for audits

You’ll Bring These Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Associate's Degree, preferably with a major in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Information Technology or related discipline, or equivalent work experience

  • Recent experience supporting DoD Logistic/Asset Management programs

  • Strong knowledge in the area of Logistics, Asset Management, or Property Accountability

  • Strong knowledge in DoD Property Accountability regulations

  • Familiarity with the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS)

  • Experience interfacing with government clients

  • Active DoD Secret clearance, but can onboard with an Interim Secret.
