CACI International Facilities Security Officer (FSO) in Annapolis Junction, Maryland
CACI Enterprise IT Operations has an opportunity for a Contractor Special Security Officer to support a large and complex IT enterprise program. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the physical security program, ensuring compliance with government and company security policies and procedures. Develops and implements the corporate physical security program in coordination with management personnel. You are also expected to lead and manage the facilities department on physical security issues.
Some of your duties and responsibilities will include the following:
-In this role you will be responsible for developing and implementing security policies and procedures in coordination with the customer and program leadership.
-Meet day-to-day security needs including SCIF accreditation.
-Maintains and updates a Facility Management Plan throughout the contract life.
-Coordinates and monitors sensitive aspects of the customer's security programs, ensuring compliance with government and company security policies and procedures.
-Ensure that all program personnel performing have and maintain the proper clearance level and that access to classified information is limited to appropriately cleared and indoctrinated personnel.
-Meet monthly or more often if needed with customer facilities services and related teams to review status, audits, incident reviews, and future needs.
-Manages investigations of suspected loss or compromise of proprietary data, equipment, or physical harm to personnel or facilities.
-Effectively communicates with company personnel, clients, subcontractors, regulatory inspectors, and third party organizations.
-Exercises broadly delegated authority for planning, directing, coordinating, administering, and executing many routine and complex projects/programs within the security function.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Typically requires bachelor's degree or equivalent, and ten to twelve years of related experience.
Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required.
