CACI (Legacy Next Century) is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team in Annapolis Junction, MD!

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Provide SME-level expertise to existing development teams to properly implement accessibility /508 enterprise standards in a consistent manner across the suite of products

  • Use software engineering best practices to develop and integrate accessibility solutions or develop new solutions and customize COTS or open source software

  • Conduct accessibility/usability evaluations, remediate accessibility issues and develop accessibility alternatives to problems

  • Develop new solutions to accessibility issues including scripts to fix accessibility issues

  • Understand users’ needs and how they affect software development

  • Make recommendations for acquiring or implementing collaboration and accessibility solutions

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Seven (7)+ years’ experience as a Software Developer

  • Three (3)+ years’ of direct experience with Java

  • Experience with AJAX Single Page Interface technologies such as JavaScript, GWT, EXT-JS, and JQuery

  • Experience with GIT, Eclipse, Maven, Linux, JIRA, Confluence

  • Strong understanding of 508 policy and standards

  • Candidate must have an active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

  • Bachelor’s Degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required

  • An additional five (5) years of additional technical experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Experience testing with JAWS

  • Knowledge of GWT
