CACI (Legacy Next Century) is seeking a System Administrator to join our team in Annapolis Junction, MD!

What You’ll Get to Do:
You will support and modernize features to be transitioned to other systems. In addition, the position will supplement the existing team to increase the overall knowledge base. Day to day activities for this role include:
Performing hardware maintenance, operations & sustainment, scripting, track/schedule STE/N, etc.,
Networking, troubleshooting, system deployment with Bash (Unix shell) and CentOS experience desired
Experience with NiFi is also desirable, but not a requirement. This is an excellent opportunity to learn the technology on the job
This position provides a pretty wide aperture, it is anticipated it will be a great learning opportunity for a candidate interested in learning and growing their technical skills.
Approximately 6 team members made up of software and system engineers
Both low and high side access
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
An active TS/SCI with polygraph required
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of SA experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
Five (5) years of experience as a System Administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required
Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems
Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems
Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems
Provide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems
Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems
Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers
Optimize system operations and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning
