We have an exceptional opportunity for a Computer Network Operations (CNO)/Target Digital Network Analyst (TDNA) Subject Matter Expert (SME). In this role, you will be part of a passionate team of industry-leading individuals supporting full spectrum cyber operations and providing thought leadership to shape future operations.
As the CACI TDNA SME, you will perform as our Lead Analyst for assisting in growing CACI’s cyber operations and Next Generation Analyst portfolio. You will help develop solutions and assist in shaping requirements to solve our customers’ CNO/TDNA challenges by:
Providing insights and expertise regarding CNO mission execution
Recommending improvements to CNO mission execution
Identifying strengths & benefits of recommendations for improving mission outcomes
Leading tradecraft development and mentoring other exploitation analysts
Anticipating emerging technology, policy, and regulation impacts on mission operations and providing strategies, guidelines, and processes to mitigate risk
Author executive level briefings and point papers
What You’ll Get to Do:
As a Lead TDNA SME, you will conduct and lead others in advanced analysis of collection and open-source data to generate insights and leads, ensure target continuity, to profile targets and their activities, and develop techniques to gain more target information. You will maintain appropriate databases for targeting, tasking, and analysis, develop comprehensive baseline profiles of designated target sets, and identify intelligence gaps to tailor current collection or enable new collection to close the gaps. You will employ multiple analysis disciplines such as pattern recognition against targets' communications, network usage and digital footprints, applying your knowledge and understand of IC needs and missions, as well as the targets’ culture, behaviors, and communications technologies.
You’ll be part of a team, working together with government, military, and contractor personnel to develop shared understandings of intelligence needs, mission relevance, and areas of expertise. You’ll apply your innate curiosity and analytical talent to form hypotheses, critically assess and choose analysis techniques, then query, merge, enrich, evaluate, and pivot within data to attain and share insights. You will distill, document, contextualize and share your findings--including any new tradecraft that you develop--with teammates, stakeholders, and intelligence consumers.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Clearance : Active TS SCI clearance with polygraph is required to start.
Education : Degree in Computer Science or related fields is preferred, but a degree in any field is acceptable. If liberal arts degree, prefer that background includes foundational computer science areas such as algorithms, computer architecture (not network architecture), programming methodologies and languages, data structures, logic and computation, or advanced mathematics (e.g., calculus, discrete mathematics).
Experience : 11+ years of relevant experience in computer or information systems design, development, and/or analysis, including engineering hardware and/or software, programming, computer/network security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, computer forensics, information assurance, systems engineering, and/or network and systems administration.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Experience writing white papers and developing presentations
Experience in either DoD or IC organizations conducting cyber operations
Working knowledge of and ability to assist others in the use of CNO tools & capabilities to support process improvement
Ability to apply advanced cybersecurity, information assurance, and communication technology principles, theories, and concepts contributing to the development of innovative CNO principles and ideas
Experience working on unusually complicated problems and providing solutions that are highly creative and resourceful
Experience with continuous development & integration tools used in operational environments
Experience with Computer Network Operations (CNO) processes, procedures, and tools
Experience supporting the National Threat Operations Center (NTOC)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to business, management, and technical teams.
Strong collaboration skills and desire to work within a team to develop and implement strategic change.
Understanding of the Intelligence Cycle
Knowledge of and connections with the Industry Base supporting CNO efforts in the IC
