CACI is a prime contractor for an upcoming project called ISDPMS . The project focuses on the software development and integration for the Department of State to provide business solutions to a worldwide workforce. We develop and maintain a cadre of systems and applications using SaaS and PaaS solution that helps protect lives of US citizens and non-citizens in Embassies, Consulates, and Posts around the world.

What You’ll Get to Do:

As an Agile Coach , you will be responsible for the implementation of Agile practices in CTO by training staff, facilitating scaled-Agile coordinating between teams, and monitoring CTO’s progress towards rapid, responsive, and responsible product development and delivery.

More About the Role:

The Agile Coach will provide Agile thought leadership and innovative practices across a wide array of modern delivery initiatives. The candidate will lead and mentor Agile Teams and Scrum Masters in scaling agile development, introducing DevOps practices, providing servant leadership, and modeling behaviors to enable teams to deliver high value results against the most complex business and technology initiatives.

  • Coordinate adherence to ASF practices with the Agile PMO, Portfolio Leads, ESS and ESS/DSS teams.

  • Plan, initiate, and manage ASF activities across all portfolios, serving as the lead methodologist and Agile coach; and remove organizational impediments to Agile implementation.

  • Implement and maintain maturity of Agile DevSecOps framework.

  • Provide training/workshops. Evaluate and assess team performance on Agile principles; existing Agile processes; and ceremonies, techniques, and methods.

  • Promote continuous improvement, value delivery, and establishment of Agile standards and best practices.

  • Facilitate regular Scrum of Scrums sessions.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience evaluating and assessing team performance relative to Agile principles, evaluating and assessing existing Agile processes, ceremonies, techniques and methods in the spirit of continuous improvement, value delivery and establishment of Agile standards and best practices;

  • A minimum of seven (7) years of experience working in IT

  • A minimum of five (5) years of latest experience as an Agile team coach for multiple software development teams

  • Solid experience with multiple implementations of Agile, including Scrum, SAFe, Kanban, etc.;

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Knowledgeable about technical practices involved in the project delivery, test processes / automation including CI/CD, user stories, unit testing, etc. TDD (Acceptance, unit)

  • Familiar with software development life cycle, professional software development behavior (pair programming, continuous integration, clean code, refactoring, etc.)

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Experience with at least one tracking tool like Jira and/or MS DEVOPS; and DevOps training or experience preferred

  • Certified in SAFe and Agile
