What you’ll get to do:

Responsible for managing and leading implementation of program activities related to a Value Stream within the Army Military Pay. Leads the SAFE Agile methodology of planning, design, build, test and implementation of the solutions.

More About the Role:

  • Leads PI planning sessions for the Value Stream.

  • Works closely with Functional SMEs, Business Analyst and Government Product Owner for Authorizing, Prioritizing, Managing, and Accepting Story within their Product.

  • Work with team members to define and maintain capacity planning for the upcoming sprints.

  • Assist the Product Owners and scrum master as needed which include responsibilities but not limited to day-to-day program management, planning, coordination, integration, standard processes, monitoring, reporting, and removing impediments for the team.

  • Manage and Prioritize Value Stream backlog stories.

  • Manage Sprint Execution for the Value Stream

  • Lead daily stand-up meetings.

  • Provides daily supervision and direction to assigned and matrixed functional and technical staff.

  • Establish and enforce documentation standards related to data conversion and interfaces.

  • Build, refine, and maintain high performing team.

  • Provide status to Release Train Engineer Program Management leadership.

  • Responsible for managing client relationships within context of the individual role.

  • Meet baselined deadlines and manage multiple, dynamic priorities.

  • Support the Value Stream in achieving daily, iteration, and release goals and delivery objectives.

  • Facilitate positive team dynamics to help maximize team performance.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other technically relevant technical degree.

  • 10 years of direct experience with managing and sustaining complex ERP systems such as PeopleSoft.

  • Extensive knowledge of current and emerging data technologies demonstrated through training, job experience and/or industry activities.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience generating process improvements; support and drive change and confront difficult circumstances in creative ways.

  • Experience leading large teams and working collaboratively in a matrixed team environment.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

  • ERP implementation experience in large scale projects

  • Experience working in a SAFe program.

  • Active or Interim Secret clearance.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Experience with PeopleSoft Global Pay

  • Experience with PeopleSoft HCM 9.2

  • Experience with Kafka

  • Experience with Ab Initio

  • Experience with Army and DoD systems, especially in the Pay arena

  • SAFe - Agilist certified

  • Active Secret Clearance

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$99,800 - $219,600
