CACI International Automation Test Engineer in Arlington, Virginia
What You’ll Get to Do:
Responsible for determining optimal approach to automated testing complex products or solutions in order to assure compliance with applicable specifications. This includes identifying and recommending product or solution characteristics that optimize their ability to be tested or to provide test data for diagnostic purposes. Combines customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledges technical, schedule and cost constraints. Develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for completing systems. Coordinates integrated testing activities. Reviews and evaluates test requirements to ensure completeness of test program. Performs technical analysis of complete systems and prepares comprehensive system level evaluations.
More About the Role:
Performs manual Functional Testing when required
Logs defects and tracks them through closure using JIRA;
Work with architecture team to integrate product test automations into CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins and Artifactory
Creates overall approach for test automation for multiple Enterprise projects;
Configures workstations and operating environments as needed to complete assigned testing;
Reports test results and maintain schedules for assigned features and functionality;
Actively participates as a member of the Agile Scrum team for assigned products/projects;
Provides technical expertise on specific products, operating systems and specialized environments;
Assists Test Team with improving test automation skills;
Assists technical services staff in the resolution of customer escalations;
Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Secret clearance or higher is required.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience;
5-7 years of experience in a software-testing role;
Demonstrable experience coding and executing automated test scripts in an Agile development approach;
Experience testing products in multiple software browsers in a Windows environment;
Demonstrable experience creating, enhancing, and executing automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and JUnit.
Possesses strong theoretical knowledge in software testing processes and methodologies;
Experience with authoring defect reports with all required details;
Experience with one or more programming languages
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Hold one or more quality-related certifications (e.g. ASQ CSQE, ISTQB CTFL, etc.);
Experience with mobile automation testing software or technique for Android and iOS platforms;
Familiarity with one or more of the following: Biometrics and Identity Systems; Personnel Background Investigation Processes.
