The CACI team is looking to add an experienced Azure Data Engineer to their growing software development contract with the Department of State in Rosslyn, VA. The Azure Data Engineer will be at the forefront of our data-driven digital transformation journey, harnessing the power of Azure to extract, transform, and load data for meaningful analysis and decision-making.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Develop, evaluate, and optimize various deep learning models for computer vision tasks

  • Conduct data analysis and exploration to gain insights on large, unstructured data sets with numerous variables

  • Perform research on various data sources, to include unstructured data using quantitative and qualitative content analytics

  • Leverage automation and machine learning to manage data, predict scenarios and make recommendations

  • Generate charts, infographics, tables, and visual images to convey data analyses and algorithm evaluations

  • Perform analysis of data for Extraction, Transformation, and Load (ETL) strategies, pattern recognition, and application of analytical tools

  • Work with project teams and solution architects to identify, design and implement custom user interface programs for data management and extraction purposes

  • Extract data from various sources, transform it into a usable format, and load it into Azure data storage solutions such as Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure SQL Database, or Azure Synapse Analytics

  • Develop and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and other relevant Azure technologies

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or related field

  • Strong experience in data extract transform load (ETL) processes using Azure services, such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure SQL Database, or Azure Synapse Analytics

  • 8+ years’ experience and skill writing coding languages (such as SQL, Python, R, SAS, and Java Scripts)

  • 3+ years’ experience working with projects involving machine learning, natural language processing, robotics process automation, artificial intelligence, text and/or data mining, as well as statistical and mathematical methods

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active Secret or higher security clearance

  • Experience with using SQL to conduct complex database queries

  • Experience with AI/ML

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • 5+ years of experience working within the DoD or IC Community

  • Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, CS, or Data Analytics

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$85,800 - $180,200
