What You’ll Get to Do:

CACI is searching for a Business Development Growth Executive to lead business development and facilitate proposal operations to deliver growth in total revenue and profit, who has a successful track record in capturing new business opportunities in the Federal Government space. You will individually lead or manage the efforts of business development team members on identifying and winning tactical contracts and strategic new business contracts worth up to, or in some cases exceeding $50M.

You will be based at our Arlington, Virginia location and can expect to spend up to 10% of your time on business travel within the continental United States.More About the Role:Strategically oversees business development and capture activities to create growth in new business. Builds relationships with key customer organizations and with industry partners to facilitate success. Delegates specific responsibilities to team members and oversees the successful completion of all assigned tasks.

Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible to lead business development staff to identify and capture new business opportunities, including task order opportunities worth approximately $2M - $20M in annual revenue;

  • Identifies and qualifies a robust pipeline of new business opportunities;

  • Identifies and negotiates teaming arrangements with qualified vendors to augment and strengthen capabilities to win bid opportunities;

  • Recommends innovative technology solutions, including integrating vendor niche product offerings, to create winning approaches to facilitate new business growth;

  • Engages customers in identifying and shaping opportunities. This includes active communication of filtered, actionable intelligence back to the Business Group and Business Development staff; and

  • Shepherds Captures and Proposal efforts of team members to maintain continuity across the BD lifecycle, enhancing our ability to win as opportunities pass from qualification into capture and then proposal

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution;

  • 10+ years’ experience developing, implementing, and/or executing delivery and growth strategies in target markets and/or capabilities;

  • Strong track record of identifying, capturing, and winning new single award business opportunities worth $10M to $100M in revenue in the Federal Government space (sales, marketing, capture, and proposal activities) in technical requirements such as contracting, acquisition, and information technology program management support;

  • Experience managing multi-functional project teams in a Federal Government environment;

  • Experience managing complex tasks under budget and time constraints;

  • Must possess the ability to lead, and delegate responsibility, tasks, and authority; and

  • Understanding of the Department of Defense (DoD) and Federal Government technologies and vendors that are often selected to deliver these capabilities.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Master’s degree in economics, finance, engineering, computer science, or another related technical or business field;

  • Business Development experience with the DoD, Department of Veterans Affairs, or Department of Homeland Security; and

  • Secret level security clearance from a DoD or Intel agency
