CACI is a prime contractor for an upcoming project in early April called ISPDMS . The project focuses on the software development and integration for the Department of State to provide business solutions to a worldwide workforce. We develop and maintain a cadre of systems and applications using SaaS and PaaS solution that helps protect lives of US citizens and non-citizens in Embassies, Consulates, and Posts around the world.

More About the Role:
The Cloud Architect is expected to take on the following responsibilities:
Support the APMO Tech Leadership by providing enterprise services, advice and architectural solutions across the enterprise and platform teams.
Lead the strategic and tactical planning for cloud migration and refactoring applications to leverage cloud capabilities, services, and resources.
Create architecture for software and services solutions for operation in the cloud.
Solutions will focus on server less and cloud-native functionality available in Microsoft Azure Government (MAG), with secondary inclusion of other FedRAMP-approved solutions.
Familiarity of controls for securing Federal Government systems at FISMA moderate and high impact levels. Setting security and design best practices for solutions.
Create reference architectures for use by new and existing systems.
Create, manage, and maintain Iterative Design Documents
Design, implement and manage both IaaS and PaaS Azure offerings
For IMS, ensure enterprise compliance and provide Azure/cloud design and development.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university; an advanced degree is preferred;
A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in the design, creation and management of cloud-based infrastructure, including virtual, networks and virtual machines;
A minimum of two (2) years of experience using the Jenkins or Microsoft DevOps for continuous integration and continuous delivery
A minimum of four (4) years of experience of the Microsoft Azure cloud environment required
DoD Secret Clearance to start ( Must be TS eligible )
Strong background in leading strategic and tactical planning for cloud migration (Azure)
Experienced in establishing system information requirements using analysis of the information engineer(s) in the development of enterprise-wide or large-scale information systems.
At least 5 years of experience in a server less and cloud-native functionality available in Microsoft Azure Government (MAG), with secondary inclusion of other FedRAMP-approved solutions.
Experience in automation/configuration management (PowerShell Desired State Configuration (DSC), Chef or equivalent)
Experience with source code repositories such as GIT, SVN, Microsoft DevOps, MS DEVOPS, or equivalent.
Familiar with OSI and ISO reference modles, and profile standards such as IEE OSE
Ability to ensure that the common operating environment is compliant with the Agency enterprise architecture and applicable reference models.
Experience implementing Azure Active Directory federation between an on-premises environment and a cloud environment;
Well versed in evaluating analytically and systematically problems of workflows, organization, and planning and develop appropriate corrective action.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and/or ARC-P cloud environments is desirable;
Experience in design, configuration and maintenance of IaaS in Azure or AWS (Azure is preferred);
