What You’ll Get to Do:

The Cloud Program Manager is a critical leadership position overseeing a team of architects and engineers, providing program management oversight in the design, implementation, and sustainment of a multi-tenant cloud environment. In this roll you will work directly with the customer (DHS CISA) leading the evaluation process to select, implement, and maintain the best cloud solutions for the organization. Successful candidates will have previous experience supporting application migrations and/or cloud platform implementations.

More About the Role:

  • Provides leadership and guidance over technical architects and engineers responsible for all aspects of DHS CISA’s cloud implementation solution (governance, strategy, design, architecture, adoption, new service onboarding and operations).

  • Coordinate with vendors and the customer to develop initial requirements assessment of cloud provider capabilities, tenant designs, and migrations tools.

  • Identify risks, and clearly communicate goals to customer and project stakeholders.

  • Guide technical discussions with senior client executives, SMEs and other vendor stakeholders that drive decisions and objectivs.

  • Drive collaboration across security, engineering and network teams to ensure unified cloud solution architecture.

  • Put agreed-upon ideas and direction into action, ensuring clear oversight and accountability, and driving for clarity and speed of decisions. Monitor the effectiveness and progress of key initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to attain DHS EOD Clearance.

  • BA + 10 years’ applicable experience, AA + 12 years’ applicable experience, MA + 7 years applicable experience or 16 years’ experience.

  • 15+ years of broadly based information systems experience, including 5+ years’ experience focusing on cloud, infrastructure and technology.

  • Experience in the stand-up of AWS or Azure cloud tenant.

  • At least five years of management experience of large enterprise technology organizations, programs, or projects.

  • Passionate about team member development and working with internal and external partners to deliver Cloud and Infrastructure technologies and support operations.

  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment where change is expected, resources are lean, and speed of execution is valued.

  • Skill in establishing plans, objectives and goals that support an overall business strategy.

  • Skill in gathering information, resource organization, project/task prioritization and schedule development.

  • Skill in providing exceptional customer service in complex, large systems/environments.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • AWS / Azure experience

  • PMP or PgMP, Six Sigma Green or Black Belt
