What You’ll Get to Do:
This position will be a unique and exciting career opportunity that will involve the integration, development, and deployment of enterprise-wide systems involving SaaS Human Capital Management products, mobile solutions, and enterprise data analytics using state-of-the-art Agile development approaches. The transformation and integration of multiple legacy systems to SaaS solutions will be a monumental technical experience for this position.
More About this Role:
The candidate will assist several teams in updating and implementing CM plans, participate in Engineering and Change Control Board meetings, and standardize documentation and processes.
The ideal candidate will have extensive CM experience in a Systems Engineering environment, and work well with diverse teams as well as on their own.
As a Configuration Manager you will be responsible for configuration management (CM) of developmental and operational systems.
The right candidate will work on developmental and operational teams to create and maintain configuration baselines supporting developmental and operational systems.
You will use or recommend automated configuration management tools to implement configuration management policies and procedures.
You will modify configuration management plans, policies, and procedures tailored to the complexity and scope of the developmental organization
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance.
Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
Expertise with SharePoint.
Experience with Applied Configuration Management in a SaaS environment.
5+ years of experience implementing the configuration management discipline for the entire life cycle of systems from initial requirements/capabilities baselines to system end-of-life.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
An Active Secret Clearance
Experience with configuration management tools to store, track, and manage configuration items
Five (5) years’ experience as a Configuration Manager in large programs and contracts.
Experience implementing software version control processes, policies, and procedures.
Experience with the DoD Change Control Board (CCB)
BS/ M.S. in Information systems, systems engineering
ITIL Foundation Certification
